Prepare the board
Use a board bag or rail protection and remove loose accessories. Position fins so they do not press into another board or vulnerable part of the vehicle.
Use the right rack system
Roof racks should be compatible with the vehicle and fitted according to their instructions. Add rack pads, place the board securely and use straps intended for carrying loads.
Tension without damage
The board must not move, but excessive strap pressure can mark or damage the rails and deck. Spread the load with padding and avoid placing buckles directly against the board.
Check the journey
Test the load before departure and stop to recheck after a short distance. Wind, rain and vibration can change tension. If the setup looks uncertain, do not drive until it is corrected.
